Immediately following the golf tournament luncheon will be a special general session led by Dan and Fred Akers of University of Texas football fame. Building from their well-received session at the CRA, Dan and Fred will lead attendees through a motivating and enlightening presentation on how to achieve excellence within your company, much like championship sports teams excel. The traditional Opening Cocktail Reception and Exhibits will conclude an eventful Wednesday.
The Thursday portion of the Convention remains true to form with the Opening General Session led by Kermit Baker, chief economist with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Three practical, "roll up your sleeves" breakout sessions will be held before lunch, and the trade show will take place in the afternoon. There will be a wonderful reception Thursday evening for all attendees to enjoy.
Friday will begin with the trade show, which will be immediately followed by the Keynote Luncheon and Bukovsky Award presentation. Our guest speaker is Hall of Fame quarterback and entrepreneur extraordinaire, Roger Staubach. The afternoon will be filled with more educational sessions and will conclude with an all-industry reception Friday evening.

Your Online Identity
Repro shops can profit from good Web sites
By Ed Avis
How can you create your own successful Web site? There is no shortage of Web experts ready to consult for you (and take your money), but keep your wallet in your back pocket and follow some of these tips:
1. Start with a plan. "You need to establish your goals," says Bob Kraft, vice president of Wisconsin repro shop MasterGraphics. "What would you like your customers to do when they're at your Web site?"
Most successful reprographics shop sites these days do a lot-they offer some form of a plan room, where customers can submit and check on jobs; they allow customers to order supplies; and they provide a communications conduit to the shop, such as online chat help. All this can make for a crowded site, so take the time to organize things before you go to the design stage.
"The number one flaw most sites have is that the companies don't take the time to organize the site, using the basic Web rules of site navigation and creating clean site hierarchy," says Les Kollegian, principal and creative director of Jacob Tyler Creative Group in San Diego.
