Artificial intelligence is seeping into every part of our lives, including the work we do. How can a reprographics shop take advantage of AI? That will be the focus of the 2026 IRgA Workshop, October 15-16 in Nashville.
This will not be an egghead event! We will start with a keynote by Will Taubenheim, a bona fide AI expert who consults with businesses on how to implement AI in their workflow.
That will be followed by a presentation by Kevin Vaughan, a veteran of the large-format imaging industry who is now an expert on how businesses can ensure that they rank high on AI search summaries. This is an essential aspect of marketing your business today!
Next, Taubenheim and Vaughan will lead a hands-on workshop -- bring your laptop -- so that everyone can become familiar with the AI tools most often used in business. You will leave that session with a deeper understanding of what exactly AI is all about.
Then we'll have a panel discussion of IRgA members who are using AI in their businesses already, so you can learn about direct applications and ask questions about those.
The panel discussion will be followed by presentations from reprographics industry vendors who are using AI to improve their products and services. The day will conclude with a presentation from Joseph Szobody of ReproConnect about the latest upgrades -- including AI enhancements -- to that system.
All of this will be encircled by the fun stuff -- a shop visit, an opening reception/dinner, two other networking meals, and unlimited opportunities for side conversations with fellow reprographics professionals.
