I wrote an article about a solution for getting into the ADA signage market in November, and soon thereafter I spoke with Trevor Hansen at Thomas Printworks about his company’s experience in that market. He explained that my article didn’t adequately address the complexities involved in making ADA signage…which led to the idea for a panel discussion on the topic. That panel discussion is scheduled for April 24 at 10 a.m.
Hansen will be a panelist, as will Jose Lopez of CyberCopy in Los Angeles and Matt Bennett of BPI Color, which has four locations in Wisconsin.
The men will talk about how their companies entered the market, the challenges they’ve faced and overcome, the equipment they use, the training required, and other issues. And they will take questions from attendees.
The ADA market is large -- every building needs ADA signage -- and reprographics firms are uniquely positioned to create this signage since they already have relationships with the companies specifying it. If you want to get into the market, be sure to attend this event.
