The RMX Network is proud to announce that Joe Cushing, President of Cushing Co, has been named the recipient of the 2025 Mike Duff Award, the Network’s highest individual honor.
The Mike Duff Award, a tradition for more than thirty years, recognizes individuals who embody the spirit of collaboration, generosity, and leadership that defines the RMX Network. Named in memory of Mike Duff, the award celebrates those who understand that the true strength of our industry lies not in equipment or technology, but in the knowledge, support, and ideas we share.
Joe Cushing has long exemplified these values. Known for his enthusiasm, honesty, and joyful leadership, Joe has built deep connections across the RMX Network. Whether encouraging partners to visit his operation, exchanging ideas, or sending his team to learn from others, Joe has strengthened the community through openness and collaboration.
A three-time RMX Board Member, including two terms as Chair, Joe has played a key role in guiding RMX through pivotal transitions, always offering clarity, calm, and a steady hand. Inside his own organization, he is known as a leader who supports and empowers his team, fostering a culture of encouragement, teamwork, and good humor.
Beyond the workplace, Joe is a devoted family man. He is part of a family legacy in the industry, following in the footsteps of Francis and Jack Cushing and working alongside his influential siblings, including past Mike Duff Award honoree, Cathie Cushing Duff.
