Digital wallcoverings are an important, growing market for many IRgA members. With that in mind, IRgA is launching a new marketing program designed to provide genuine customer leads to members who provide this service.
Here is how the Wallcovering Network works:
1) We have created a website to market the program to prospective customers: wallcoveringnetwork.com
2) IRgA members who want to participate will sign up for the program by clicking here. The requirements to participate are straightforward: Your firm must be an IRgA member; have at least one year experience offering wallcoverings; and have a staff person who can knowledgably interact with potential customers. Members who outsource the production of the wallcoverings are welcome to participate, as long as they have someone on staff who can knowledgably interact with potential customers (we are emphasizing the personal and local angle in the promotions).
3) We will promote the Wallcovering Network website via Google AdWords in the geographies where members have signed up.
4) Prospective clients will complete an inquiry form on the site. When leads come in, we will forward them to the nearest participating IRgA member.
Each member who participates will receive the first three leads for free. After that, we will contact the member and see if they found the leads worthwhile. If so, and they want to continue participating, they will be charged $10 per lead. There is no other charge to participate, and participants can drop out whenever they want.
The Wallcovering Network is based on the same idea as the Scanning Network, which IRgA ran for about six months in 2024. The Scanning Network generated several hundred leads for participants, but they were mostly small, one-off scan jobs, and ultimately we decided the program was not worth the cost.
We learned a lot during the creation and promotion of the Scanning Network – such as how to optimize the website and get the most value from the Google AdWords -- and we’re applying those lessons to the Wallcovering Network. We decided to focus on digital wallcoverings this time around because even small, one-off jobs can be profitable, so the potential for overall success of the program seems higher.
If your firm meets the requirements and you would like to participate, please click here to register. If you are not a member and would like to join, please click here. If you have questions or comments, email Managing Director Ed Avis, ed.avis@irga.com.
