We were saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Heller, an important person in the success of BluEdge and RMX Network. This is the message posted on BluEdge's LinkedIn page:
We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Mike Heller, a cherished member of the BluEdge family and a true industry pioneer.
Mike began his journey with us in 1971 as an Assistant to the President, quickly rising through the ranks thanks to his unwavering dedication, sharp insight, and tireless work ethic. In 1984, he was promoted to Vice President of Production, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s approach to quality and innovation. His leadership was instrumental in implementing the Philip Crosby system, a move that elevated our commitment to excellence and had a lasting impact on our operations.
Mike’s vision also helped drive our first expansion beyond New York City—a milestone that marked a turning point in BluEdge’s growth. His legacy continues to inspire the way we work and the standards we uphold today.
Beyond BluEdge, Mike made significant contributions to the wider industry as a proud member of the RMX Network. From 2001 to 2005, he served on the RMX Board of Directors, bringing his trademark energy, wisdom, and candor to every meeting. Those who had the privilege of working alongside Mike will remember his clear voice, his passion for progress, and his ability to bring people together around a shared goal.
Mike retired in 2011, but his influence remains woven into the fabric of BluEdge and RMX. We are deeply grateful for his leadership, his integrity, and his lasting contributions to our community.
He will be truly missed.
