My credentials and background: I’ve been involved in the reprographics industry for over 50 years. I am a CPA (disclaimer, at my age, I do not maintain an active license.) For companies in which I was a shareholder, I completed three mergers, twelve acquisitions and three sales, including the sale of companies I owned. I took my first company public (1985; company was traded on NASDAQ). After retiring from “active duty”, I have, as a consultant/advisor participated in seven acquisitions and eight sales. My first company, which we took public in 1985 and sold to CitiCorp Venture Capital in 1988, achieved annual sales of over $26 million. (I was Chairman/CEO of that company.) The second company in which I was a shareholder achieved sales of $23 million before we sold it in late 2007. (I was the Senior VP of that company.) After retiring from active duty in the reprographics business, I served as Managing Director of the IRgA (now the APDSP) for just under one year. Earlier in my career, the company I then owned was one of the five core founding shareholders of the organization known today as the RMAX Network. I’ve done consulting work for the largest reprographics company in the U.S. and for the largest reprographics company in Eastern/Central Europe. I’m blessed to be acquainted with reprographics industry people all over the USA (and many in Europe as well.)
