Paul Fridrich, former IRgA president and owner of CyberCopy in southern California, has been named the 2017 Mike Duff Award winner from ReproMAX. The award recognizes professionals for outstanding leadership, dedication and loyalty to the industry. This year’s recipient represents the professionalism Mike Duff always respected.
Fridrich offered the following comments upon winning:
I want to thank all who belong to this exclusive group of what I consider to be the best companies in our industry. I am honored and humbled that you chose me this year to receive the award named after my dear friend Mike Duff. I am deeply honored to be included in the company of Mike's sweetheart Cathie Cushing-Duff, Gene Klein, Bill Thomas, Sol Magid, Joe Williamson & Guy Timothy.
Mike had an unshakable belief in sharing the experience and knowledge among members and the fact that it will benefit and elevate performance of all companies the way high tide elevates all boats. To me, that is The True Mission of ReproMAX and Mike personified this purpose in the most exemplary way. Mike is the shining example of how ReproMAX partners should interact and all I am doing is to stay true to his legacy.
On the personal level, I appreciate Mike for his constant encouragement not only to stay engaged, but also to seek leadership role within ReproMAX and the industry at large. I am for ever grateful for his infectious and eternal optimism. I do not remember a single instance of Mike saying anything negative about anyone. I miss him very much.
I also want to thank David Beardsley, who allows me to have time to work on the ReproMAX issues and on my golf game. By honoring me with Mike Duff Award, I can at least conclude that in 1 of those 2 endeavors I have been somewhat successful.
Thank you all for the honor received, I am truly grateful. Let us continue to build the best network of companies in the spirit of Mike Duff.
