Guy Timothy, president of SBR/Vision Graphics, was the recipient of the 2016 Mike Duff Award for distinguished service to ReproMAX and in the reprographic industry at the ReproMAX Spring Executive Conference. The Mike Duff Award was established by the ReproMAX Board of Directors to honor professionals for outstanding leadership, dedication and loyalty to the industry. This year’s recipient represents the professionalism Mike Duff always respected. Past recipients include Cathy Duff, Gene Klein, Joe Williamson, Sol Magid and Bill Thomas.
Guy Timothy has been with SBR/Vision Graphics in Salt Lake City, Utah for more than 20 years. He started in the production department and worked his way up to the position of president of this large print service provider. He has grown their assets to include full small and large format color printing, engineering equipment sales and supply, leasing and installation. He is responsible for several acquisitions, making his company a major competitor in the sports marketing arena where—literally—over one billion people have seen the work produced by this company.

Hosted at the Fairmont Hotel, with a facility tour at BarkerBlue of San Mateo, California, the conference topics for the two-day meeting included discussion panels on estimating, workflow, human resources and color production. Other topics included 3D scanning and virtual reality. InfoTrends provided a speaker for the keynote address. Vendor presentations included EFI, Canon, HP and Image Access.
