Editor’s Note: Bob Roperti, a long time IRgA member and board member, has sold Jiffy Reprographics, and he and Mary-Dianne are moving on to new adventures. Here are excerpts from an email Bob sent to IRgA Managing Director Ed Avis:
The last two months have been a whirlwind of events and activities -- exiting the business, close-out of financials/audits/taxes and relocating to the Fla. home office and some leisure time in the NC mountains for vacations.
We worked with multiple prospective buyers and ultimately sold Jiffy to a local print/marketing company. Not an industry player in reprographics or equipment, Masters Digital Services has real challenges ahead adapting and paring down Jiffy Reprographics’ broad market focus. As expected, Travis Masters a very competent business man is changing the focus to fit his business model.... including branding a new name Jiffy Graphics.
Mary-Dianne and I have been involved with the Clearwater business community and local charities with our resources, time and talent. We now have more opportunities for involvement in business consulting, directorships, and volunteerism. I’ll also get back into commercial real estate again to keep my hand in the market.
We’ll be in Spain in August so I’m boning up on my Castilian dialect. The Spanish wines are very good!
