We are pleased to announce that Cuttermill Blueprint in Great Neck, New York is the newest member of APDSP! The company, which has three other locations with different names on Long Island, is owned by Kishore Hemrajani.
Hemrajani learned about large-format printing while managing the Kinkos location in Great Neck, and decided to go out on his own in 2004.
“When I opened up shop I planned to do posters, but I realized that there was a niche printing for architects who didn’t have the time or equipment to do it themselves,” he says.
After a decade in business he was ready to expand. He opened Gold Coast Blueprint in 2015; Plainview Blueprint in 2016; and Port Washington Blueprint in 2017. He hopes to open a fifth location this year.
About half of the business’ customers are architects, and the rest are engineers, buildings, and subcontractors, Hemrajani says. About 5 to 10 percent of his work is color, such as color renderings. He also does large-format scanning, primarily for local governments, and spec books.
Hemrajani says he is eager to network with other APDSP members. Please reach out to our newest member at kh@cuttermillmailroom.com or 516-817-5010.
