3M Commercial Solutions has added two new straight fibers to 3MTM Wrap Film Series 1080. These two new films include:

With a selection of carbon fiber, brushed metal, matte, satin, gloss and now straight fiber options, film series 1080 is available in 57 finishes, textures and colors. This variety allows graphics installers and car owners the flexibility to easily create head-turning looks for their vehicles, making them stand out in the crowd.
“Our current carbon fiber films are still available and were designed with a slight weave in the pattern to mimic real carbon fiber,” said Doug Blackwell, Marketing Development Manager, 3M. “However, some customers prefer a straight pattern. We now offer both patterns to give the customer the flexibility and freedom to choose either effect.”
Installers have come to rely on film series 1080 for its high performance right out of the box, as well as its eye-catching looks. With no need for printing or an overlaminate, the film can be applied as soon as the package is opened. The dual cast film has just the right amount of rigidity to allow easy handling, and it can be positioned and repositioned during installation thanks to pressure- activated adhesive and air release channels that help prevent air bubbles. With 60” wide rolls, installers can quickly cover entire vehicle sections without seams.
