David Goetter, a pioneer in digital finishing, is offering a course on facemounting to acrylic for fine arts on September 12 in Wilmington, MA. Here is a description of the course:
No Bubbles, No silvering, No edge delaminating, No Static dust, No trash in prints, Perfectly finished edges, reduced waste, Lower cost, Faster and simpler process. What not to do, and everything else you wanted to know about, facemounting to acrylic. -dg
Here is an outline of the course:

- Nip profile, and low pressure– why it’s fundamental to the acrylic mounting process
- Best new process for webbing your laminator- stop throwing money away
- Sledding verses webbing your laminator- how to make the call and does size matter?
- Laminator process capabilities– how to go from a 3-step to a 2-step workflow
