Rockville, MD - September 16, 2014 -- Contex has announced a new collaboration with HP to provide six large format, multifunction product (MFP) bundles to the AEC and GIS communities.
Each bundle pairs a Contex SD3615 or IQ Quattro 44MFP wide format scanner with an HP Designjet printer for a powerful and intuitive MFP solution at a budget-friendly price. The Contex MFPs are specially priced and available exclusively through the HP DRC and HP GDS dealers while supplies last.
"We are happy to work with HP again to offer these MFP bundles with their new printers," comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Contex Americas. "The powerful combination of Contex’s wide format scanner and HP’s print solution meets and exceeds users’ demanding workflow requirements."
Solutions for Workgroups of Every Size
Small workgroups can choose from three MFP bundles that pack the full functionality and speed of Contex scanners and the efficiency of HP Designjet ePrinters into stackable solutions. Users can capture images in 1200 dpi resolution and edit scans with Nextimage REPRO software. The bundles can also print technical documents and line drawings in full color. The bundle options are the SD3615 and HP Designjet T520 MFP; SD3615 and HP Designjet T790 or T795 MFP; and IQ Quattro 44 and HP Designjet T790 and T795 Power MFP.
For medium workgroups, Contex offers the SD3615 and HP Designjet T920 Power MFP and the IQ Quattro 44 and HP Designjet Z5400 PostScript® Power MFP. The SD36 MFP’s versatility enables users to work with different formats, scan to multiple destinations, and collaborate with multiple members of their workgroup. Built for productivity, the IQ Quattro 44 MFP can compress files and dual roll with smart switching. Additionally, the solution is suited for small reprographic shops and can produce fade and water-resistant prints and scans.
Large workgroups can select a bundle with an HP Designjet T7200 Production Printer and either a SD3615 or IQ Quattro 44 scanner. The bundles can print up to four D-sized documents per minute. The combined speed of the scanner and printer result in an intensive duty cycle that produces 600 D-size prints and over 1000 scans per week.
Each MFP bundle comes equipped with Nextimage Repro software, a height-adjustable stand, and a movable 17-inch touchscreen monitor.
