Joel Salus, a veteran of the repro industry and an acquisitions consultant, has assembled a Excel chart that allows repro shops to compare their sales trends with those of ARC. When he sent the chart to APDSP, he wrote:
"Sales-Results-Comparisons can be very revealing. If I’m up, year over year over year over year, and others are down, year over year over year, that tells me that I’m doing something right….. and, as one might put it, I’m 'beating the market.' If I’m down and others are up, I’m either doing something wrong OR my 'down' situation might be regional in nature."
