Two reprographics professionals – one with decades of experience in the field and one new to the field – have been slated to fill two upcoming vacancies on the APDSP Board of Directors. The nominees are John Lipari, co-owner of Plan & Print Systems in Syracuse, NY and Jen Fuller, owner of DRSi in the Seattle area.
“I’m excited that the board has slated John and Jen, who bring a combination of experiences and perspectives that could really positively impact the association and the reprographics industry,” says Ed Avis, APDSP’s managing director. “I can’t wait to see the ideas they bring to the table.”
Lipari earned a B.A. in History from SUNY Cortland in 1989 and briefly taught in the Syracuse City School District before joining Plan & Print in 1991. His first position in the family business was in outside sales. He oversaw the company’s transition from diazo to digital in the mid 1990s and the move to online plan room services in the 2000s. Lipari and his brother Frank Jr. purchased Plan & Print from their father Frank in 2003.
Fuller has owned DRSi for about a year. DRSi’s services span interior and exterior signage and graphics, marketing materials production, construction printing and digital archiving. Prior to purchasing the company, which has served the Seattle area for nearly 30 years, she was director of strategy at Nordstrom for five years. She began her strategy career at Bain & Company, where she worked with executive teams of Fortune 500 companies to address their most critical issues in strategy, operations and organization and spent five years working in private equity in the U.S. and Japan. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Colorado College.
If elected, Lipari and Fuller will replace outgoing board members Michael Shaw and Kyle Batsford.
The election of the new board members will be held on August 5 at 9 a.m. Central. This meeting will be held remotely because of COVID restrictions. If you would like to participate, please email Avis at ed.avis@apdsp.org and he will send you call-in details.
