Joseph Szobody, president of ReproConnect, has joined the Board of Directors of APDSP as the vendor representative. Szobody will complete the final six months of the term of Sabrina Carter, and then will be slated for a full two-year term.
"We are delighted to have Joseph join the Board," says Ed Avis, APDSP's executive director. "He has a lot of insight into the reprographics industry since ReproConnect serves hundreds of reprographics firms. I can't wait to hear his ideas for how APDSP can grow and improve."
Szobody founded ReproConnect 18 years ago and now the company has eight employees. Szobody says he wrote early versions of the software from his college dorm room. "In the early days, I would get on a plane and travel to every single new customer location, to install and train them on the platform," he says.
Szobody and his wife and their five children live in Asheville, North Carolina.
