Don't miss this event! All reprographics-related people in town are cordially invited to this fun evening of drinking, networking and schmoozing. Thirteen leading vendors -- Canon, Canon Solutions, HP, KIP, Inktronic, Digital ES, Kingnote, Image Access, Contex, Sepialine, Starfinder, Synnex and Pinnacle Infotech -- will have tables around the perimeter of the room, so you'll be able to see what their latest offerings are. There will be an open bar and hors d'oeuvres. You do not need to register to attend the Opening Reception, but everyone will be asked to sign in and receive a badge at the door.

2:30 – 3:30 – Panel Discussion – Reprographics M&A – Joel Salus and Mikel Monsen
Joel Salus (who is an accountant by education, a CPA, and took one of his repro companies public in 1985) is a veteran of the reprographics world who has been involved in the launch of new repro firms, the acquisition of firms, the merger of firms, and the sale of firms. His perspective on how a shop should prepare itself for transition has been honed through decades of running repro businesses and consulting in the field. Mikel Monsen, director of print and scan solutions for Monsen Engineering in Salt Lake City, UT, has recent first-hand experience with M&A, because his family's firm was sold in 2018. Both men will help attendees understand what it takes to get a business ready for the next stage.
