Would you like to have a better social media presence for your reprographics shop? Or tap the fine art scanning market? Or learn how to value your repro business and prepare it for a sale? Then APDSP has you covered! These topics and three more will be covered in the 2018 members-only webinar series. Here is a full rundown (the dates are tentative, except for January):
January 16: SEO and Social Media for Reprographics Shops. How well do you manage your website's search engine optimization (SEO)? Do you know how to organize your site and create content that puts you at the top of the search list? And how effective is your firm's LinkedIn page? These topics and others will be the focus of the APDSP members-only webinar on Social Media and SEO on January 16 at 11 a.m. EST. Click here to register.
March 13: Tapping New Markets for Wide-Format Scanning, from Fine Art to Production AEC to Books and Bound Documents.
How can you make more money in scanning? This webinar will introduce attendees to several key scanning markets, including fine art, AEC, and books. Steve Andrikut of Image Access LP will lead the webinar and present information about the new WideTEK 36 ART, and he will be joined by APDSP member Christian Cummins from Idaho Blueprint and Supply, who will discuss how scanning has improved his firm's bottom line. May 15: Valuing and Selling Your Shop. This webinar will feature a panel discussion of reprographics shop owners who recently sold their shops or acquired shops. The panelists who sold their shops will explain what they did to prepare their businesses for sale, how they found buyers, and what happened after the sale. The panelists who acquired shops will tell attendees what they looked for in the acquisition and how they arrived at a fair price.
July 10: Wide-Format Color Printer Update. Listen to a panel of your peers describe their experience using the latest wide-format color printers from KIP, HP, and Canon/Oce. This discussion will provide attendees with a "from the trenches" view of these printers.
September 11: Tapping the Fine Art Market. Scanning and printing fine art is a special market that select APDSP members have developed. They will share their experiences with this market and offer tips for success in this webinar.
November 13: Section 179 and Other Leasing Issues. Leasing equipment is an important business line for many APDSP members, but are you taking full advantage of the opportunities in this market? Leasing specialist and APDSP board member Camille Vieux of Commercial Capital will help members understand the ins and outs of leasing equipment.
Each webinar will be one hour, and will include time for questions and answers. The dates provided here are tentative; stay tuned in coming issues of APDSP Today for more details.
